Delete Account

This page explains how RunWeather users can request account deletion and what happens to associated data afterward.
How to Request Deletion
- 1Send an email to hello@runweather.app from the email address linked to your RunWeather account.
- 2Use the subject line: Delete my RunWeather account.
- 3Include a short confirmation that you want your account and associated data permanently deleted.
Deletion requests should be sent to hello@runweather.app.
Timeline
We confirm requests and begin processing promptly. Most requests are completed within 7 days. Backup removal can take up to 90 days.
What Data Is Deleted
- Account profile details (name, email, and account identifiers).
- Connected training/account links (for example Strava connection references).
- In-app preferences and weather/running personalization data tied to your account.
What Data May Be Retained
- Security and abuse-prevention logs retained for up to 30 days.
- Backups that may contain account records and are automatically purged within 90 days.
- Records we must keep for legal, compliance, or dispute-resolution obligations, if applicable.
